Dust Control
The New Generation models have a range of functions that are one-of-a-kind. As a result, throw distance, electricity consumption, noise emissions and water volume used for the 3060 and 3090 models can always be accurately adjusted to operating conditions. The high-performance cone that has been developed with Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) ensures the highest efficiency. The water can either be spread with the nozzle ring (large surface areas) or the nozzle head (concentrated). Therefore, droplet throw can be adjusted to the respective operating conditions. It‘s the best solution for demanding use with throw distances between 10 and 90 metres.

Moby Dick Cannon Cart – Dust control
Unlike conventional systems that generate large or differently sized droplets with low-pressure pumps, MobyDick dust control systems use special high-quality pumps and suitable nozzles to create water mist with a large number of minute water droplets. The droplet size for the outdoor application 50: 50μ up to 150μ and 20μ up to 80μ for indoor application.
Our experiments have shown that smaller water droplets work much more efficiently because, in addition to being produced in greater numbers and in a homogeneous size, they also stay in the air longer due to the lower velocity and rate of fall. In addition, there is less suction effect around the droplets, which enables them to reliably bind to the dust and sink the particles to the ground.
