Industrial Atex certified vacuum cleaners

The European standard UNI EN 17348:2022 has been harmonized with the ATEX directive and also with the machinery directive. The new standard specifies the requirements for design, construction, testing and marking of hand-held, portable, and transportable vacuum cleaners and vacuum systems, including their accessories. It is intended for the collection of
combustible or non-combustible dusts and flammable or non-flammable liquids in potentially explosive atmospheres.

EX DRY TYPE – Compliant and safest for ATEX-classified environments (Zone 22 and Zone 21), these vacuum cleaners are perfect for collecting non-reactive dust. Suitable for containing dust that generates an internal Zone 20, thanks to a high level of internal protection (EPL Da) and high filtration efficiency (H14 /99.995%). They ensure maximum safety against explosion risks, even from a legal standpoint, as certified by accredited third-party.

EX WET TYPE – The Wet type solutions are ideal for dust such as aluminum, titanium, metal and other self-igniting or reactive dusts. They use a neutralizing system that eliminates ignition risks with an efficiency greater than 95%, as demonstrated by test reports from an accredited third-party laboratory. Equipped with a coalescing H filter, these systems ensure maximum safety and compliance in handling highly reactive dust.

LIQUID COLLECTORS – Delfin designed solutions for the collection in ATEX zones of non-flammable liquids. A mechanical system grants the suction cut-off system when the tank is full. Delfin’s dual use solutions allow by using the proper filtration kit, vacuum unit suitable to be a Dry type or a Liquid collector according needs.

VACUUM CLEANERS FOR NON-ATEX ENVIRONMENTS – ACD -Suitable for non-ATEX classified areas, ACD vacuum cleaners offer safe collection of combustible dust. Compliant with the IEC 60335-2-69 standard and ATEX certified for internal Zone 20, they ensure a high level of safety against explosion risks. Available in Dry Type or Wet Type (INERT) versions.
