This formula will help you choosing the best heater for your needs.<\/p>\n

Basic formula:<\/strong><\/p>\n

V x \u0394T x K = kcal\/h<\/p>\n

V – is the volume to be heated in m3.<\/p>\n

\u0394T – is the difference betwen the existing and desired temperature in \u00b0C.<\/p>\n

K – is the dispersion coefficient (from 0,5 to 3,5)<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Key:<\/strong><\/p>\n

V = width 4 m, lenght 12 m, height 3 m, volume to be heated = 144 m\u00b3<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u0394T = external temperature -5 \u00b0C. Needed temperature inside + 18 \u00b0C, temperature \u0394T = 23\u00b0C<\/strong><\/p>\n

K = This factor depands on type of construction and isolation<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

K = 3,5<\/p>\n

Not insulated buildings (wood or corrugated metal buildings, greenhouses)<\/p>\n

K = 2,5<\/p>\n

Poorly insulated buildings (old houses and cellars).<\/p>\n

K = 1,5<\/p>\n

Moderately insulated buildings (garages).<\/p>\n

K = 0,5<\/p>\n

Well insulated buildings (houses and offices).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Example: needed heating power<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

144 x 23 x 3,5 = 11.592 kcal\/h<\/strong> (or 13,5 kW<\/strong>)<\/p>\n

1 kW \/ h = 860 kcal \/ h<\/p>\n
